Source: two killed by a car going in the opposite direction

Two women have died and up to seven people have been injured in a traffic accident caused by a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction on the A-4 motorway, in Jerez, as reported by Emergencies 112 Andalucía.
It was at 3:40 p.m. when 112 received the first of several calls alerting of a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction on the A-4, at kilometer 631, in the direction of Seville, at the height of the municipality of Sherry. Several vehicles were involved in the accident, according to the first information transferred by witnesses.
Activated by the coordinating center, members of the Provincial Firefighters Consortium, the Civil Guard and the Traffic crew, as well as the health services, moved to the scene of the event, which moved several ambulances to care for the injured.
Sources from the Armed Institute and the health services have confirmed that, due to the impact, two women, aged 56 and 75, have lost their lives at the scene of the accident, without being able to do anything to save their lives.
In addition, up to seven people have been injured of varying severity, including a six-year-old boy and three 16-year-olds. All the injured have been referred to hospitals in Jerez, Puerto Real and Puerta del Mar, in Cádiz capital.
