HOUSTON – The man who Galveston police believe is responsible for the deaths of two minors on September 2 faces two counts of homicide and one more of aggravated assault while intoxicated.
This was known this Tuesday, after the Galveston County Prosecutor’s Office charged Keith Brazier with the deaths of Mason Nelson and Sam Mixon. He had been paroled earlier that day on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
Brazier was taken to jail Tuesday in a wheelchair and magistrates set bail for him at $1.5 million.
The fatal accident occurred around 6 pm that day right in front of Galveston Ball High School where the two fatalities studied.
A third student Hanna Jackson was seriously injured in the crash.
