The civil Guard has investigated the driver of a wrecked car for a crime of reckless homicide in which one of its occupants died.
The events took place last April when a notice was received at the Traffic Subsector Central of the Civil Guard of Malaga about an accident that occurred at kilometer 8,100 of the MA-6414 road, which joins the A-45 motorway with the town of Villanueva de Algaidasin the municipality of Antequera, in which a vehicle had gone off the road and had collided with some olive trees.
After the visual inspection was carried out by a Police Team from the Traffic Subsector of Malaga, and after analyzing the circumstances of the accident, the driver of the vehicle was investigated for an alleged crime of reckless homicide due to reckless driving, causing the death of one of the occupants of the vehicle, in addition to three other minor injuries.
The vehicle was traveling at a speed much higher than that allowed on that section, limited to 60 km/h, causing the exit of the tracksubsequent barrel rolls and crashes against the olive trees.
The facts investigated could lead to a penalty for the driver of between one and four years in prison and the deprivation of the right to drive motor vehicles between one and six years.
