A Coventry man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and rear-ending a Rhode Island State Police cruiser on I-95 early Tuesday morning.

Following the crash, police diverted traffic from I-95 to Route 37. Just after 2 a.m., troopers stopped a vehicle that had heavy front-end damage and was riding on one of its rims. Police said the driver was arrested after she was found to be intoxicated and had a baby inside the car.
