(NOTICIAS ALREADY).- Deadly accident recorded, on Bryan Road, south of Mile 7, north of Mission, when a pedestrian tried to block a pickup truck from leaving his home, causing it to run over his foot and then get hit on the head, to later die in the hospital, as announced by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The events occurred on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at approximately 7:24 p.m., according to preliminary information provided by the authorities, revealed that a red GMC Sierra 2021 truck, which was driven by a man and carried four passengers, was trying to leave the house, when a pedestrian (a household member) tried to stop the GMC from leaving. The pedestrian followed the GMC out of the driveway as he pushed himself toward the GMC to prevent it from leaving. It was then that this person fell to the ground after the GMC will go over the left foot, stood up and lost his balance, causing him to fall and sustain a head injury. Seeing this, the driver of the GMC stopped to render assistance.
The victim was transported to Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissanceand was identified as Alejandro Marquez, 48, a Mission resident who died at the hospital.
So far it has not been given know the name responsible for this accident.
DPS Troopers are investigating further background this fatal accident.
