Lyrics

Whoa
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Whoa
I’ll see you on the other side

They told me I should stay in my own lane
Whatcha doing here this ain’t your race
You were born a different a color
You should be like all the others
Fuck you and the things you say
Screw this imma make my way
Be mad cause I do it better
Your words won’t keep me tethered

You can cut me up
Break me up
Throw me to the ground
Chain me up tape me up
Hang me upside down
I don’t even care about anything you say
I’ma make a change, yea I’ma make a way

Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
You got your knee on my neck and I can’t breathe
I’ll keep fighting for my life
I’ll see you on the other side

I’ll see you on the other side
I’ll see you on the other side

Black lives only matter for a moment
You only say it if its profit or promotion
You only post just to make you look devoted
But I can see through you and your bullshit

Fuck you and the things you say
Screw this imma make my way
Be mad cause I do it better
Your words won’t keep me tethered

Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
You got your knee on my neck and I can’t breathe
I’ll keep fighting for my life
I’ll see you on the other side

Whoa
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Whoa
I’ll see you on the other side
I’ll see you on the other side
I’ll see you on the other side

I’ll see you on the other side
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me

Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
You got your knee on my neck and I can’t breathe
I’ll keep fighting for my life
I’ll see you on the other side
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
You got your knee on my neck and I can’t breathe
I’ll keep fighting for my life
I’ll see you on the other side

  1. This song was based on "who" telling you not to purdue rock? First off, they were obviously stupid. also, off the top of my head sevendust and hed p.e.? I love music I love, regardless of who or where it comes from/genre, etc. Good for you opposing those who try to stereotype.

  3. Thank God we had Rage Against The Machine singing F u I wont do what you tell me not magnolia park. Are they spreading the word about racism or profiting from the topic. I challenge them to give any and all the profits from this song to help poorer people or charities.

  6. Blame the media for portraying certain incidents to fit their agenda to label what different types of race are and labeled them as a whole.

  7. Remember when we didn’t view everything in life through a political or racial lens? I’m gonna pretend like it’s 2005 and like the last 5 years never took place. I understand you feel you are sticking up for your race etc, but as motivational as it may seem, further analysis should let you know how decisive it is to constantly talk about race. Seriously, just stop. Good music, decisive in nature. What happened to songs about heartache and drug abuse? I’d take that over political/racial SJW shit any time.

  11. This song has been on repeat since Simple Plan posted about you guys yesterday. I am ecstatic I was able to find you guys. This songs message is incredible & your music is incredible. For those people saying this message is for the woke people don’t quite understand the meaning of this song. Part of this song is about those fake wannabe woke people. You should understand the message before commenting stupid stuff.

  13. I haven't heard a good rock band like this in a while. i get a certain feeling when I know I've heard a good band with a great edge. I just got that feeling. The Killers, Deftones and Interpol gave me that same vibe.

  14. Idk if that was intentional but the power of your message on the first verse when you’re saying they’re telling you.. you should be like the “others” there’s a rap beat faintly playing but then when you say F*** YOU it goes away… that was pure genius!
