As the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of reckless homicide, being absent from the scene of the accident and driving without a driver’s license
The Civil Guard has investigated the driver of the car involved in the fatal accident of the Fords Bridge in Vegas del Genil last Saturday, in which a motorist died, lacking a driving license.
As reported by the Armed Institute, when agents of the Traffic Subsector of the Civil Guard of Granada were required to instruct proceedings for a frontal collision between a car and a motorcycle on the GR3404 road, they verified that the driver of the car involved “left the place on foot following the direction he was going”.
The civil guards carried out the visual inspection at the scene of the accident and the necessary inquiries to try to locate the absent driver.
At that time they were informed by the Santa Fe Civil Guard Post that a person wanted to file a complaint for the theft of the vehicle that was involved in the incident.
Thanks to citizen collaboration, images of the accident site came to the hands of the agents moments after it occurred and in them you can see the alleged driver leaving the scene of the accident, according to the Civil Guard.
This coincided with the person who wanted to file the complaint for theft, as well as with the documentation found inside the car.
For all these reasons, the Civil Guard proceeded to investigate him as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of reckless homicide, being absent from the scene of the accident and driving without a driving license, bringing him to justice.
