A 47-year-old man has died this Friday morning in Granada after crashing his car into the pump of an ASC gas station on the N-432, known as the Córdoba road, on the way to Atarfe. According to information from the Emergency Service, the accident occurred around 06:20 in the morning, just as the service station was being opened.
Sources consulted by IDEAL affirm that the driver, who could have suffered an indisposition, has crashed into a roundabout, the car has jumped about 20 meters to the gas station and has bounced another 10 meters. The man, owner of a sheet metal and painting workshop in Churriana, has died instantly. The vehicle, meanwhile, has begun to smoke after the collision.
After reporting to Emergencies, members of the Fire Department, National Police, Civil Guard and health services moved to the scene, although they could not do anything to revive the injured person, who died on the spot.
