HOUSTON – An accident on the premises of a construction site in the east of the city took life of a Hispanic worker, authorities confirmed Monday.
The worker lost his life after being trapped in a machine near the 10 Freeway in East Houston.
The authorities until this Monday afternoon had not revealed the identity of the deceased, they only revealed that it is a Hispanic worker.
A group of workers were digging the earth in that area, but it has not been disclosed how the man involved in the incident was trapped under the machine and the earth.

According to Abby Cortez, a spokeswoman for the Houston Fire Department, rescue teams received a call to retrieve a person trapped in the 12700 block of the 10 Freeway East.
“The workers were digging under the ground, approximately 20 feet deep,” Cortez said.
The Fire Department took a long time to extract the body, since it was under heavy machinery that had to be raised to recover the remains of the victim.
