I am currently in my last class before I graduate. Two days ago, May 13, 2021 I checked my financial aid to confirm that the loan disbursement would cover my student balance, and it did that and more, which would have left me with a stipend. Today, May 15th, I check my student’s accounts and CTU is saying I owe $3800 for the last course which my financial aid covers, so I check my financial aid tab and CTU had a whole new financial aid award letter than what was there two days ago. This award letter states that I do not receive a loan disbursement for the month of May. So I called CTU financial aid and asked what was going on and why the change in 2 days. The representative informed me that my upcoming disbursement was canceled by CTU. I asked her why did they cancel it and if they were going to cancel it why not give me a heads up back in February when the last disbursement occurred. Still haven’t gotten a response. So now, my transcripts and degree will be on hold until I come up with $3800. Which I don’t have laying around.
