A 66-year-old motorist died in the accident that caused the arrest, a 27-year-old who was driving without a driver’s license. He has been arrested this Saturday when he was driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotic substances.

The Ertzaintza has arrested the driver who fled last Friday after causing an accident on the Donostia-San Sebastián bypass in which a motorcyclist died. The arrested, 27 years old and who lacks a driving licensehas been caught driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotic substances.
As recalled by the Basque Department of Security, the fatal accident occurred at quarter past nine on the GI-20 road as it passed through the capital of Gipuzkoa. A van was driving exceeding the speed limits on that stretch of the variant when it collided with the motorcycle. Due to the crash, the motorcycle went off the road and hit the fence.

The 27-year-old arrested person will be brought to justice once the police investigations are completed.
