Freedom with charges for the driver of the fatal accident in Fríes, in which a 36-year-old man from Bilbao lost his life last Friday. The judge has decreed the release of the 39-year-old MAVG, who tested positive for alcohol after the fatal accident, in which he was slightly injured.
The accident took place at 7:00 a.m. when, for reasons that are being investigated, the vehicle in which the fatal victim, from Bilbao, with the initials PCM, was traveling left the left side of the road, in the kilometer 331,300. The driver of the vehicle was slightly injured with bruises and was taken to Arriondas Hospital.
MAVG was one of the six arrested in the special surveillance and security device of the Civil Guard on the occasion of the International Descent of the Sella. Another four were arrested for crimes against road safety and one for gender violence.
In total, the Benemérita agents carried out nine controls at the entrances to the towns of Arriondas and Ribadesella, identifying 83 people and controlling a total of 25 vehicles.
In terms of drugs, 2 grams of cocaine, 27 of hashish, 19 of marijuana and one of speed were seized.
This device led to the mobilization of 275 members of the Meritorious, who helped a total of 930 people.
