This Friday morning, a fatal accident was recorded on National Route 33, between the towns of Casilda and Pujato. According to the first reports, there was a solo crash in the area of the Marziali curve, where a young person lost his life. “The vehicle was heading in the Casilda – Pujato direction. At one point he lost control and collided head-on with a tree. The car broke in two from the crash. Unfortunately, a young man died and the other occupant was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The mechanics of the accident are still unknown,” said Cristian Sanabria, head of the Casilda fire department, in dialogue with Mirador Provincial.
At the time of the accident, visibility conditions were optimal. Meanwhile, the person who was injured was transferred to the San Carlos Hospital in the city of Casilda. Volunteer firefighters, staff from the Samco de Pujato and the Scientific Police worked on the scene. The Public Prosecutor’s Office intervenes. The route remained closed for a few hours.
