A 15-year-old boy lost an arm in a brutal subway incident late Monday morning as a train pulled away from a platform in Queens, police said.
Police and fire crews rushed to the subway station in Jackson Heights around 10:30 a.m. for reports of a possible amputation. There they found the boy on the platform with his arm severed near his elbow, according to one MTA worker.

I don't even like standing anywhere near the edge of the train platform. I always stay towards the wall. I couldn't even imagine wanting to do something like this. Smh it's too bad, I feel for the kid, hopefully he's learned his lesson and this will keep others from the same fate.
I can't believe someone MY AGE would do something so stupid and crazy like that. I sure hope he and his friends learned their lesson.

I don't feel sorry for the kid. I do however feel sorry for the sanitation workers, police officers and all the people who needed to find another route to home/work because of these teenager actions. You cause issues for others and that's something I do not shed one ounce of pity for.
